Day 08

Release from Backstory

0:09
Okay, so here we are into day eight, and you should be last night feeling super ignorant. It’s a wonderful, liberating feeling to feel that you’re just a dummy. I feel that way about myself every day. The next step is really unleashing the power from within by giving up on what’s called the backstory.

0:35
We have to give up on backstory. Now, when you’re listening and talking to people, and maybe you’re listening to yourself. Hopefully you are. You’re starting to become aware of what you’re saying and how you’re thinking. But in this I want you to think about backstory, how people are governed by what’s happened to them. They want to tell you their backstory. They want to tell you what’s happened to them so you get them a bit better, or they just release a load of negative energy onto you.

1:01
Backstory is a subjective thing. It’s only our view of it that exists, if at all, but we convince ourselves that the back story is true, and we identify ourselves through it. And backstory means everything that’s happened to you thus far in your life. Now, if you’re going to carry that around with you every day, as far as almost like, you know, if you can imagine, when you were a kid, you know, as a five year old, you had a little lunch pack, and you carried that to school.

1:30
And even that was a pain in the ass. You put it down. And girls, you never even had a handbag or anything. Used to run around. Lots of creativity. By the time you get to 40, you got a whole stretch of samsonites. You’ve probably been to one of those airport sales places of bags like, you know, big bags, little bags, small bags, small bags, all in a suitcase section.

1:53
So you got the big Samsonite, the little one, and the little one, it spells like that when you’re about 40 that you’re dragging all these bags around you. You’ve got packs of them. Well, you never had them before. So, yeah, what are we wanting to do? We want to cut those away. And that’s backstory. You can if you want, identify and say that that’s you, and that’s who you are, and your CV and all your experience and the skills you currently got, this is all your self identification within limitation, right?

2:24
The more you identify yourself within a list of things, and that’s it, beliefs, values, skills, that’s all you can be, and the more you say, Okay, I’ve got this whole back story that confirms that, because that’s what I’ve done, that’s all you can be.

2:40
But we’re talking about moving from the A identity to the B identity, and the B identity does not have a load of samsonites dragged behind them psychologically with all the things that you’re carrying, because it just takes up too much space. If you want to mentally accelerate, you’ve got to travel light, and I mean seriously, like, because we want to clear the mind, and that means that there’s nothing there.

3:05
We don’t want all this stuff being hung up on, regret, resentment, Genesis, all these old things that you might have had, you know, things of things where you failed at, things or relationships that went wrong, and things you said, and it didn’t mean all this crap. It only exists within your mind as a limitation now, so you’ve got to clear it out.

3:29
You’ve got to move it away and stop talking about your back story. Start talking about the future, Imagineering and emotioneering the future, and to do that, we’ve got to give up the resentment, we’ve got to forgive up the regret of the past. We’ve got to give up the fear of the future, and we’ve got to come into the now and in the now. We’ve got to free up what’s called mind space, not mindset, because that’s like concrete, a bucket of gurus.

4:01
Oh, you need the right mindset. I’ll forget that they’re just stupid. All right. We need mind space to be able to use what’s called our experiential learning bank, that’s all the wisdom of our life contained within our unconscious mind, and download insight and inspiration from what’s called the quantum field. This means that you start to expand the mind massively, and you will go into these super creative states. But you gotta give up on your backstory.

4:27
You know, if you keep talking about what you’ve done and what you think you’ve done and what hasn’t done, it’s all subjective. It’s all existing in your mind. You might have even been in the conversation with somebody else before and dates. It in a completely different way, which is right, which is wrong, you think you’re right. What does it matter?

4:44
Then what matters is you accelerate away, and that means snip, the snap, snaps nights you.
